You don’t need an account to use AroundTonight, and we don’t ask you to sign in.

What we collect

We keep simple, first-party usage statistics so we can tell which dates, filters, and venues people find useful — for example that a date was selected, a filter was used, or a venue page was viewed. These records use a hashed, daily-rotating identifier rather than your name, email, or IP address, and we don’t use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Your location

If you tap “Use my location,” distances are calculated in your browser. Your precise location is not sent to our servers and is not stored.

Forms

When you send a correction, venue suggestion, or venue claim, we store what you typed, the time, and a hashed version of your network address to limit abuse. An email address is optional on most forms and is used only to follow up about your submission. We don’t sell or share this information.

Sources and venue information

The venue details we publish come from venue and community sources, and each venue page credits them. If you represent a venue and want information updated or removed, use Claim your venue or report a correction.

Cookies

The public site does not set tracking cookies. A session cookie is used only for the administrative area.

Changes

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version.
